Welcome to our guesthouse at the Caravansarai campsite in the village of Basshi of the Altyn-Emel National Park. You will see what a Kazakh village looks like, how locals live, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of rural life. The campsite is calm and quiet. The large village estate provides a comfortable stay.
The house is minimalistic: no unnecessary stuff, heavy curtains, etc. That provides clean air without excess dust and odors, for a more comfortable stay for guests. In the cold season the house is heated and in the heat it remains cool. It is built of locally made clay bricks using traditional technology and has thick walls.
The house is rented out by rooms:
- isolated bedroom with 2 single beds;
- isolated bedroom with 3 single beds;
The house can also be rented out as a whole, it accommodates up to 14 people (the house has walk-through connecting rooms).
The house has a dining room, a kitchen, one shared combined bathroom (the campsite also has new outside bathrooms).

It is a common area for all campsite guests.
Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen: gas stove, running water, hot water, refrigerator, microwave ovens, 10-liter thermopot, water filter, all necessary utensils.

Enjoy a good steam in our mobile and stationary wood-burning Russian saunas, for 2 adults each.
There is a cold water supply, hot water is in a heated tank.

At the Caravansarai campsite, guests can cook their own food or pre-order from the menu.
Barbecue
At the Caravansarai campsite, guests can make outdoor barbecues. Please bring barbecue meat with you from the city. You can use your own barbecue equipment or rent at the campsite.

- At the Caravansarai campsite you can see a variety of American, European and Russian campers in one place.
- The campsite is specially fenced in such a way that guests can observe the country life of the Kazakh aul (village). For urbanites, that can be an unusual experience.
- You can have a picnic in the open air at the campsite. There are tables, chairs, a terrace, and a campfire site.
- On the spacious territory of the campsite there is a garden with fruit trees.
- We provide Wi-Fi at the campsite. In the Basshi village, there is good mobile communication and 4G Internet.
- At night, on clear days, you can admire the magnificent starry sky through a telescope. In the village of Basshi, lights are turned off at night, there is no light pollution.
