Most tourists come to the Altyn-Emel National Park with an overnight stay to see the Singing Dune and the Aktau mountains in one visit. Overnight stay in the park is an important part of the trip. Usually tourists live in the village of Basshi.
We offer you to live comfortably in nature outside of Basshi in our mobile motorhomes, which can be taken outside the village.
There is a suitable camping site at the ranger's post of Shygan with a magnificent view of the Dzhungarian Alatau mountains, just 6 km away from Basshi. Enjoy privacy, clean air, silence and a starry sky in Altyn-Emel.

Shygan
Shygan is located 6 km from the village of Basshi. On one side there is a ranger's house, WC, a shed for Przewalski's horses, and on the other side there are steppe expanses with a view of the Altyn-Emel and Matai mountain ranges. The Dzhungarian Alatau mountains frame this entire valley. You are in the wild and at the same time in a safe place near the ranger.
The national park is closed to tourists at night, so no one drives here in the evening or at night.
A well with artesian water feeds this small oasis.
